Package Overview​

The HiveRadar EDC HR-01-2 Edition consists of three main components: the main case unit and two protective lids.

Main Case Components​

HR-1 blueprint

The main case includes all integrated systems: network switch, smart PDU, EDC Health Monitor device (with pre-installed witness depending on the HCI software), and the compute drawer designed for two HiveRadar HR-01 Edge Servers.

Lid Assemblies​

The EDC includes two protective lids that can attach to either end of the case. Each lid contains a different set of deployment legs designed for specific purposes.

Lid 1 - Bench Support Legs​

Includes two short, reinforced bench legs that convert the lid into a bench seat (220 lb capacity).

Lid 2 - EDC Support Legs​

Includes two long, heavy-duty support legs for stabilizing the EDC during operation, plus mounting bracket for optional LED beacon.

⚠️ Important: While both lids can attach to either end of the case, the leg sets contained in each lid are NOT interchangeable. EDC support legs and bench legs are designed for different purposes and cannot be swapped between lids. Each set of legs is labelled to prevent confusion.

Storage Drawers​

The HR-01-2 Edition includes two storage drawers for accessories and optional equipment.

Full-Depth Drawer (Upper)​

Provides space for:

  • The accessory pouch
  • T-Bar mounting bracket
  • Carbon fiber pole
  • Light Beacon
  • Hex key
  • Cellular Wireless Gateway alongside antennas (Mako 5600 shown on image)

The space for the Gateway can be adjusted to accomodate StarLink Mini instead by adjusting the clips positioning.

Short-Depth Drawer (Lower)​

Includes mounting space for optional accessories. Drawer configuration may vary based on your order.

Accessory Kit​

Located in the upper storage drawer:

  • 1× Power cable (region-specific: ECP106 specific for North America, ECP106-INT specific for International)
  • 2× Ethernet cables for your 5G Gateway or AP (Cat6 or higher)
  • Welcome letter with quick start guide and product information
  • Additional velcro cable straps
  • Spare radio device mounting adaptor hardware (varies by configuration)

Note: Accessory contents may vary based on your order configuration and reseller.

Optional Components​

If you ordered additional accessories, these may be included separately:

  • 5G/LTE cellular gateway
  • Starlink Mini mounting hardware
  • Off-grid power accessories
  • Additional storage or mounting hardware

Missing or Damaged Items?​

If any components are missing or damaged:

  1. Document with photographs
  2. Note the serial number from the rear panel label
  3. Contact your reseller immediately before deployment
  4. Retain all packaging until resolved
